About YEARC

The mission of the Youth Empowerment Advocacy Resource Center is to provide District teens and young adults with developmental disabilities with ways to learn about policies, services and supports that affect their lives.

The project provides teens and young adults with leadership training and information about employment, housing, education, and transportation. 

Project participants work together in small group s to explore topics of interests and work with policy makers in the District of Columbia to ensure that the voices of teens and young adults with disabilities are heard!
